Madboks is a volunteer-driven community fighting food waste with hundreds of helpers — many of them internationals. Madboks rescues tons of surplus food three times a week and redistributes it at the redistribution venues. They host several weekly food saving events at Nørrebro, Sydhavn, and Amager.
Østergro Denmark’s first rooftop farm, located atop an old car auction house. Produces organic vegetables, herbs, and honey while hosting community dinners, education and urban farming workshops. Every Tuesday during the season people from all over the world join the team for a weekly volunteer day and you are also welcome!
